| Mechanism Of Action | Relieves itching and pain caused by insect bites and skin irritations. Stops the itch at the source by blocking the histamines that cause itch. Provides relief in a greaseless vanishing cream. - HYDRIN-Z cream 1% contains 1% diphenhydramine hydrochloride-for itch relief that is appropriate for children ages 2 & up. - HYDRIN-Z Forte cream 2% contains 2% diphenhydramine hydrochloride-for itch relief that is appropriate for children ages 12 & up. |
| INDICATIONS | HYDRIN-Z Forte Cream is used is indicated for fast, effective relief of itch due to insect bites, mild sunburn, minor skin irritations, and rashes due to poison ivy, poison oak or poison sumac. HYDRIN-Z Forte Cream dries the oozing and weeping of poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac. |
| CONTRAINDICATIONS | Hypersensitivity to any component of HYDRIN-Z Forte Cream. |
| WARNINGS | : Do not use on chicken pox, measles, blisters or on extensive areas of skin, except as directed by a physician. Avoid contact with the eyes. If condition worsens, or does not improve within 7 days or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days, discontinue use of this product and consult a physician. Do not use any other drugs containing diphenhydramine while using this product. |

| Dosage And Administration | Adults and children 2 years of age and older: Apply HYDRIN-Z Cream 1% to the affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Children under 2 years of age: Consult a physician. Adults and children 12 years of age and older: Apply HYDRIN-Z Forte Cream 2% to the affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Children under 12 years of age: Consult a physician. |
