| Mechanism Of Action | Tolnaftate stops the growth of fungi that cause skin infections, including athlete's foot. |
| INDICATIONS | Tolnaftate is clinically proven to cure most athlete's foot (tinea pedis) and ringworm (tinea corporis), and it helps prevent most athlete's foot from recurring when used daily. It is effectively soothes and relieves symptoms of athlete's foot, including itching, burning and cracking. |
| CONTRAINDICATIONS | Hypersensitivity to any component of FUNGATOL Foot Cream. |
| Side EFFECTS | Tolnaftate is not significantly absorbed from topical applications and no confirmed adverse systemic reactions have been reported. Application on the skin may cause mild irritation and some allergic reactions. |
| WARNINGS | Consult your doctor if irritation occurs, or there is no improvement within 4 weeks. Do not use on children under 2 years of age except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. When using this product avoid contact with the eyes. |
| Dosage And Administration | Adults and children 2 years of age and over: Apply to the affected area(s) of the skin two times a day (morning and night). Children up to 2 years of age: Use is not recommended except under the advice and supervision of your doctor. • Wash the affected area and dry thoroughly. • Apply a thin layer over affected area twice daily (morning and night). • Use daily for 4 weeks; if condition persists longer, ask a doctor. • To prevent athlete's foot, apply once or twice daily (morning and/or night). • This product is not effective on the scalp or nails. |
