Mechanism Of Action | Rhubarb extract, which contains anthraquinone glycosides, has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Salicylic acid has bacteriostatic and keratolytic effects |
INDICATIONS | RAWAND solution is used for the local treatment of the inflammatory lesions limited to the oral mucous membrane and local treatment of the mouth ulcers |
CONTRAINDICATIONS | RAWAND solution is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to salicylates. It is also contraindicated in children of less than 6 years old. |
Side EFFECTS | Hypersensitivity to salicylic acid, and a possibility of teeth colouring, reversible with the stop of the treatment |
WARNINGS | Because of the presence of alcohol, RAWAND solution is recommended to be used in adults and the children of more than 6 years only. |
Dosage And Administration | Apply the solution to the sore areas of the mouth, by the brush (joined to the bottle), 2-4 times daily. Avoid mouth rinsing after use. |
